The area where Tayyib Foundation is running its projects was badly affected by the earthquake in October 2005 which destroyed the road networks, local dispensaries and hospital. As these were destructed people from the area faced difficulties to seek medical help. There are no medical health centres constructed, there is no ambulance service at the moment, the patient is taken to the city hospitals such as Muzaffarabad, Abbottabad or Rawalpindi but there is no ambulance service during emergencies. Ambulance service is a high demand from the people of that area in Azad Kashmir.
